Overview
This extension fits stores that need shoppers to personalize an existing WooCommerce product before adding it to the cart. Typical uses include gift wrapping, engraving text, file submissions, service upgrades, delivery-date requests, tips, and other optional charges. Global add-on groups can be applied across a catalog or restricted to product categories, while individual products can receive their own fields or opt out of global options. Add-ons are not separate inventory-managed products, so they do not receive their own SKU; this makes the extension practical for configurable extras but less suitable when each option needs independent stock, fulfillment, or reporting. Variable products inherit the same add-ons across their variations rather than supporting different add-ons for each variation. Before deploying, test the product page, cart, checkout, order emails, uploads, variable products, and any block-based or custom theme templates on staging. Stores with many fields should also check server limits such as PHP max_input_vars, and teams needing conditional show-or-hide logic should plan for a separate solution because conditional logic is not built in.

- Add-ons applied to variable products are inherited by all variations; different add-ons cannot be assigned per variation.
