PluginNest guide

How PluginNest Reviews GPL Files

PluginNest is building a reviewed GPL library rather than a random file dump. Each validated product should have metadata, version records and file checks before delivery.

ZIP integrity and path safety

The upload workflow checks that archives can be opened and that archive paths do not attempt unsafe extraction patterns such as writing outside the intended folder.

SHA-256 records

A SHA-256 fingerprint helps identify the exact delivered file. It is not a marketing claim by itself, but it helps keep future updates and support conversations precise.

Important product notes

Some WordPress products require companion files or special setup steps. PluginNest stores product-level notes so customers can see important instructions when they matter.

PluginNest is independent and not affiliated with original product developers. GPL downloads do not include official vendor license keys, SaaS accounts or official vendor support.

FAQ

Does a reviewed file mean official vendor approval?

No. Reviewed means PluginNest has recorded its own file workflow. It does not mean endorsement or approval by the original developer.

Can I request a newer version?

Yes. Product pages include a version update request workflow so users can ask PluginNest to check whether a newer GPL file is available.
