Overview
GamiPress – Expirations is designed for membership-style progression, temporary benefits, recurring challenges, and other reward systems where access or status should not remain permanent. It adds expiration controls to GamiPress achievements and ranks, and also exposes expiration settings for points awards, points deducts, achievement steps, and rank requirements. Rules can use a specific date or a period measured in days, weeks, months, or years. Relative dates are calculated from the moment a user unlocks the relevant item, which makes the add-on more suitable for rolling validity periods than a single site-wide deadline. Ranks receive an additional recalculation option that can refresh the next rank’s expiration after a higher rank expires or is revoked. Before deploying, test overlapping ranks, step expirations, revocations, timezone behavior, and the front-end wording on staging so the resulting progression matches your intended rules.
