Instructor Role is relevant when several teachers work inside one LearnDash site. It is an extension, not a replacement for the LearnDash learning-management plugin. The official documentation separates instructor dashboards, learning-content creation, multiple instructors and review of course updates. Decide who may edit and approve courses before configuring roles. Payment and commission workflows require their own setup. Check the available version and test permissions with a non-administrator account on staging; a downloaded extension does not include a LearnDash subscription or third-party payment services.
