JetSearch For Elementor

JetSearch adds live AJAX search to WordPress sites built with Elementor, Gutenberg, or Bricks. It can search posts, pages, custom post types, taxonomy terms, custom fields, and selected WooCommerce data, while providing controls for result ordering, suggestions, highlighting, pagination, and custom result-page URLs.

Overview

JetSearch is suited to content-heavy WordPress sites where the default search form does not expose enough query control. Its Ajax Search widget, block, or Bricks element can return results as visitors type, reducing the need to leave the current page just to inspect matches. Site owners can narrow searches to selected post types, terms, taxonomies, or metadata, which is useful for directories, catalogs, knowledge bases, and other structured-content projects. The plugin also provides a configurable results area, custom result-page URL, result ordering, pagination, text highlighting, and search suggestions. WooCommerce-specific searches can use product-related fields such as SKU, attributes, categories, tags, and other metadata according to the configured setup. The main limitation is that useful results depend on well-structured content and careful query settings; broader indexing is not automatically a substitute for taxonomy or metadata planning. Before launch, test response behavior, result relevance, template styling, WooCommerce visibility rules, and interactions with caching or other search and filtering tools on a staging site.

The search interface is available as an Elementor widget, Gutenberg block, and Bricks element.

Compatibility and setup context

  • Designed for Elementor and documented for use with the free Elementor editor; verify the active Elementor version and theme on staging.
  • Provides a Gutenberg block and a Bricks element in addition to the Elementor widget.
  • WooCommerce is relevant for product-focused searches; verify product visibility, attributes, metadata, and catalog rules in the target store.
  • JetEngine can be used for listing templates and custom-field-driven result presentation, but confirm whether the chosen result layout requires that additional plugin.
  • A custom search-results page may require a suitable archive or listing setup, depending on the selected result source and template approach.
