Gravity Forms Disable Entry Creation
Gravity Forms Disable Entry Creation is a Gravity Perks add-on for sites that need Gravity Forms to process submissions without retaining completed entries. It removes the entry after submission feeds have run, with additional handling for User Registration feeds and optional conditional rules.
Overview
This add-on is designed for forms whose main purpose is to trigger an action—such as sending a notification, registering a user, or passing information to another service—rather than maintaining a permanent local submission archive. Gravity Forms still creates an entry during submission, so the product is better understood as automatic post-processing deletion than as literal prevention of entry creation.
Compatibility and setup context
- Requires Gravity Forms; the documented settings are accessed from a form’s Gravity Forms settings.
- User Registration feed handling is documented, but the exact behavior depends on the User Registration feed configuration.
- Cannot be used directly on child forms embedded through a Nested Forms field. It can be applied to the parent form, after which child entries are removed with the parent entry.
- Test connected feeds, file-upload workflows, User Registration, and any asynchronous processing on a staging site before enabling deletion in production.
