Overview

Multiple Forms is designed for WordPress sites that collect related information through separate Gravity Forms forms but need to review or report on that information together. A site owner can select a primary form, connect another form through matching fields such as an employee ID, and add fields from both forms to a GravityView layout. The extension also supports unions in version 0.7.0, allowing entries from similar forms to be combined without a shared matching field. Because the extension remains in beta, site owners should review the documented limitations and test joins, field mapping, searching, sorting, permissions, and front-end presentation on staging before using it for production workflows.

Connect entries from two or more Gravity Forms forms using shared field values.
Create left joins that retain entries from the primary form even when a matching secondary entry is absent.
Use strict entry matching, also described as an inner join, to show only primary entries with matching data in the joined form.
Match forms using more than one field pair and add additional joined forms to the same View.
Add fields from multiple connected forms to a GravityView layout.
Create unions in version 0.7.0 to stack entries from several forms into one View without requiring a shared field.
Map fields from unioned forms into the primary form’s columns; fields with identical labels can be mapped automatically.
Use the extension with Nested Forms according to the product documentation.

Compatibility and setup context

  • Requires Gravity Forms and GravityView as the underlying form and front-end View system.
  • The extension is still identified as being in beta; review its known limitations before deployment.
  • Install and configure the extension through the GravityKit management interface inside WordPress.
